NSW: Motorcyclist hurt at Eastern Creek
SYDNEY, Aug 31 AAP - A 20-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital aftera motorcycle accident at Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway.
He was competing in the Australian Superbike Championship final this afternoon whenhe collided with another rider just before 3pm (AEST).
An ambulance media spokeswoman said he suffered serious head, neck and chest injuriesand was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition, but the second rider wasunhurt.
"Miraculously, the second gentleman was able to walk off the track and did not requireambulance attention," she said.
