Queensland Premier PETER BEATTIE has used the example of his young daughter as he callsfor Governor General PETER HOLLINGWORTH to resolve allegations of a child sex cover-up.

Dr HOLLINGWORTH is under pressure over claims that he helped cover up church-relatedchild sex abuse while he was Anglican Archbishop of Brisbane, and failed to support itsvictims and their families.

One of the allegations relates to the former Anglican Archbishop of Brisbane's knowledgeof a relationship between a 14-year-girl and a priest who later became a bishop.
